What’s up ladies! I cannot contain my excitement with my article this week. Halloween is just around the corner. Costume parties will be everywhere. If ever you are planning to go to a costume party and you are not yet decided which look you will have. This article might help you. You don’t need to spend much on your costumes or look. I am  a big fan of Frida Kahlo. So I want to share this easy weensy look and won’t drain your wallets. All you need is a long skirt (color doesn’t really matter), blouse and flowers. Flowers can be real or plastic. Few accesories like chandelier earrings and big necklace. If you don’t have them it is ok. It is still possible to achieve the Frida look. To everyone who is asking who Frida is. Let me show you a photo of her. A screen cap from my phone. Hahahaha!

The most important thing you need are eyebrow pencil and eyebrow mascara. Eyebrow cake powder is also useful. Take note all the shades should be dark. Ofcourse you can use any foundation, powder and lipstick.

I used Nyx Eyebrow Cake Powder, Fanny Serrano Eyebrow Pencil, Victoria Secret Eyebrow Pencil and Ashley Shine Eyebrow Mascara. That eyebrow brush is from Forever 21 and its important also to use that brush to achieve it.

So let’s start with the hair. Bobby pins are your bestfriends. You can wear your hair up. In any way you can.

Just tie your hair up. That will do. The most important thing are the eyebrows girl.

I don’t have thick eyebrows so I had to make it look bigger and thicker. To outline my eyebrows I used the VS pencil. Then I used the FS eyebrow pencil. To darken it, I applied the Nyx eyebrow cake powder. Combine the two shades using the eyebrow brush. It looked like this.

This is ok for the black and white photo that I showed earlier.

Then I found another photo of her. The one with flowers on the head. So I tried to make it thicker and additional hairs in the middle of the eyebrows.

Also, I don’t have any flowers. Hahahaha. So I used snapchat filter instead. To see how it looks if I have the flower crown. Wore accesories from Tickles and Beats (check their instagram @ticklesandbeats).

So that’s it for my Frida inspired look. Again, you don’t have to spend much. Just use what you already have. Feel free to ask questions. Email me at Thank you for reading!
